Easter Ramble

The annual Easter Ramble is a 5-7 day walking holiday that takes place during the Easter Vacation. In recent years, we've rambled along the coast of Cornwall (2014) and through the heart of the Lake District (2015). Other destinations have included Snowdonia, the Peak District, the Yorkshire Dales, and Dorset. The Easter Ramble is an excellent opportunity to escape to somewhere hillier than Cambridgeshire and is always loads of fun! Details of the 2017 Easter Ramble on the West Highland Way are below.

2017 Easter Ramble on the West Highland Way

This year we'll be walking the entirety of the West Highland Way (96 miles/151 km) in Scotland.

  • Dates: 14th - 23rd April 2017
  • Cost: £180 (accommodation) + £150 (approximately, for transportation). Accommodation will be in hostels, which we will organize on your behalf. Each person will be responsible for organizing their own transportation but help is available with this.
  • Sign up: The group will be capped at 10 people, and accommodation in the Highlands is filling up quickly. If you're interested in coming on the trip or have any questions please contact Angela, ag768(a)cam.ac.uk, as soon as possible.
